A note about our pricing

We recognize that many studios may charge less than we do. We don’t compete to be the lowest price. We compete to offer the absolute best sound. I have been a recording engineer for over 32 years and a professional, classically-trained musician for close to 40 years. We offer sonically superior results and an efficiency and empathy towards musicians that others simply can’t.

For live recording, we base our pricing off of the current, going rates for union musicians. As members of the local AFM chapter as performers, we recognize that musicians should be valued for not just the time for the performance, but the effort that goes into it in the practice room. Our live recordings are typically 4-5 hour endeavors (some are much more). Then there are the final mix and master sessions which also take 2-4 hours each.

For smaller ensembles - rock bands, solo artists, small chamber groups, and singer/songwriter setups, our setup is much less involved and can be charged on an hourly or small package basis. All of our packages are here to simply provide ideas as to our pricing.
