Starting in the music world at age 7 by first playing the violin, I began my love for music of all kinds. Growing up, I listened to punk, pop, rock, early hip-hop, classical, and pretty much everything else I could soak my ears in. Switching to playing the horn when I was 11 and taking my first pro gig in high school, I realized music would be my life.

I went to school for music and began my interest in recording after I took the job of recording all of the university’s concerts and recitals on horribly old and outdated gear.

In 1997, I opened my first business as a mobile recording studio and quickly grew my portfolio of clients all over the DC, MD, and Northern Virginia areas. When I decided to open a commercial studio, mastering facility, and label, I changed company names and a whole new ethos took over. Provide the absolute best sounding recordings for every ensemble regardless of experience level. This ranged from top level, internationally known classical ensembles, to up-and-coming hip hop artists, to local and regional rock bands. My experience and clientele grew and my reach was now global working on mastering and engineering projects from anywhere in the world.

After becoming a dad, I took some time away from the recording industry to spend more time with my family. But now I’m back! And I’m approaching recording in ways that others haven’t thought of yet.
